Admission Age Criteria

Innovative International School, Chakan is a recognised CBSE school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Admission to the Innovative International School, Chakan is open to all children without any distinction of caste, creed, colour or religion..

Class Date of Birth should be before Age Criteria for AY 2023-24
Class I Born before 31st Dec 2017 6 Years on 31/12/2023 or before. If the child is born on January 1st, 2018, he/she will not be accepted for admission for Class - I.
Class II Born before 31st Dec 2016 7 Years on 31/12/2023 or before. If the child is born on January 1st, 2017, he/she will not be accepted for admission for Class - II.

Admission Documentation

  • Date of Birth Certificate (Original + One Self attested photo copy).
  • Immunization/Vaccination card showing Blood Group: Photocopy.
  • Aadhar Card of the child: One Self attested photocopy.
  • Latest Coloured Photographs: Child: 02, Father & Mother: 02 each.
  • Caste Certificate if applicable (Initially father's caste certificate).
  • Report Card of Passed Class (One Self-attested copy): for Class I onward
  • School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate (Original): for Class II onward

Admission procedure

We have taken every possible step to keep the admission procedure as simple as we can -

Kindly refer to the process as given below:

Fill up questions asked in Enquiry form at our website's Home page/call us/Email details to: iischakan@gmail.com

 Walk into the school between 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for further inquiry. Do not forget to carry following documents to save time:

  • Date of Birth Certificate (Original + One Self attested photo copy).
  • Immunization/Vaccination card showing Blood Group: Photocopy.
  • Aadhar Card of the child: One Self attested photo copy.
  • Latest Coloured Photographs: Child: 02, Father & Mother: 02 each.
  • Caste Certificate if applicable (Initially father's caste certificate).
  • Report Card of Passed Class (One Self attested copy): for Class I onward
  • School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate (Original): for Class II onward

 Next steps:

  • Once you enter the school office, you will be given Admission Enquiry Form at the reception, fill up all the details in it. Be seated till you are called.
  •  Attend the interaction session with senior members or the admission counselor.
  •  Get the admission Form only if you are convinced with our philosophy and system.
  •  Fill up Admission Form and submit it in the office on the same day.
  •  You will receive further intimation regarding Parents' Orientation, books and uniform purchase

Fees

We have taken every possible step to keep the admission procedure as simple as we can -

Payment of Fees:

Admission form will be given to parents only when admission is confirmed. Kindly carry a cheque on the day of the Admission formality. At the time of admission, parents are required to pay One-Time Non-Refundable admission Fee along with First Installment of Tuition Fee. The tuition fee will be paid in three installments. You can also do online transactions.

Please quote your child's Admission number, Name and Class during any kind of correspondence with the school.

School fee can be paid in three Installments:

  1. Before 10th June.
  2. Before 10th September.
  3. Before 10th December.

The fee should be paid between the 1st and 10th of each installment. In case of a holiday falling on 10th, the fee will be accepted on the next working day without late fee fine. For fee paid after the 10th, a late fee fine will be charged.

Code of Conduct

 GENERAL BEHAVIOR

  • Students are expected to maintain a high standard in their behavior and manner of speech
  • Students’ actions and language should be courteous at all times
  • Students must converse with each other in English on the school premises
  • Students should greet peers, teachers and visitors whenever they meet them
  • Attentiveness in class and regularity in home assignments is mandatory
  • Each student should take pride in keeping the school campus clean
  • Fighting, bullying, denying use of facilities to others, damaging school property and causing injury to others will invite strict disciplinary action
  • Students are responsible to the school authority not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behavior outside. Any objectionable conduct reported or observed is liable to disciplinary action
  • All unresolved disagreements amongst peers must be brought to the class teacher’s notice

ATTENDANCE

Students must be regular and punctual in attending school

  • The minimum attendance required is 80% in an academic year
  • No test will be rescheduled or re-conducted to accommodate a student’s absence
  • In the event of absence for upto three days, a written note should be submitted either through email, a note in the student diary or a leave letter sealed in an envelope, explaining the reason for the absence. A leave request made through a phone call should be later supported with an application
  • If the duration of absence is to be more than three days, a written permission needs to be obtained from the Principal/ Vice Principal/ Headmistress/ Coordinator
  • If sick leave is being mentioned and it is for more than 3 days, the parent should submit a doctor’s certificate
  • No half days or early leave for students will be permitted
  • In the interest of students and discipline, parents are earnestly requested not to apply for leave for family vacations, ceremonies and functions

SCHOOL TIMING

  • School will remain open from Monday to Friday
  • Time schedules for PTMs and school functions will be informed through school circulars and the school website bulletin board
  • Students who do not use the school transport are expected to reach 10 minutes before the first bell
  • They should also be picked up within 15 minutes after the last bell

UNIFORM

  • The uniform should be clean and well ironed daily
  • Shoes and socks should be clean
  • Personal hygiene and cleanliness must be maintained
  • Hair must be cut short in case of boys and neatly tied in two plaits/ put in place with a hairband in case of girls
  • Any kind of coloring of hair is not permitted
  • Nails should be cut short weekly. No nail paint allowed
  • Girls must wear simple earrings. No fancy jewelry allowed
  • Students are allowed to wear watches only after class 4
  • Improper turnout will invite disciplinary action
  • NON-USE/ POSSESSION OF THE FOLLOWING
  • Mobile phones/ I-pods/ PSPs/ CDs/ cassettes/ walkmans and other similar items
  • Fancy jewelry/ watches
  • Valuable articles
  • Money
  • Inappropriate books and magazines
  • Toys
  • Inflammable and sharp items
