CELEBRATIONS :

  • International Yoga day

    “Yoga is highly important for healthy life. It enhances mental and physical wellbeing.” Innovative International School celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June with great enthusiasm. The students, teachers and members of Parent Teacher Association took active participation and performed Surya Namaskar and Pranayam. Students took part in the various competitions like Colouring Competition, Collage Making Competition and Yoga Quiz

  • Smriti Diwas of Eminent Personalities

    A Special Assembly is organised on Eminent Personalities days to pay rich tribute to, Nav Sahyadri Charitable Trust Motivational thoughts attributed to his life were displayed on the soft board; Inspirational videos on his life are shown to the students.

     

  • International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical

    (IYPT 2019) was celebrated in Innovative International School. Various activities were organised to honour the occasion. Poster Making Competition was organized for the students of classes I to IX. Essay Writing Competition was conducted and Inter House Quiz was conducted for classes VI to XII with the objective to create awareness about the contribution of Dmitri Mendeleev and the history of the evolution of Periodic Table

  • Guru Purnima

    A special assembly was conducted on the occasion of ‘Guru Purnima’. The programme commenced with lighting the lamp to offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati. The faculty members were felicitated by the students. The event was thus truly significant in making each staff member feel special for her/his role in ensuring the all-round development and well-being of their pupils. Principal addressed the students about Guru Purnima. Various activities like Hindi Doha recitation, speech on the importance of ‘Guru Purnima and a group song were also organised.

  • Raksha Bandhan

    Raksha Bandhan is a precious and pious occasion to celebrate the bonding of love between brother and sister. On this day, Sisters tie a sacred thread or a colourful special band, rightly called the 'Rakhi' on their brothers' wrist as a mark of affection, sisterly love, and sublime sentiments. All the students from classes I to IX participated in Rakhi Making Competition and made traditionally colourful Rakhis.

  • Independence Day

    Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Innovative International School, Mouda. The majestic tri-colour was unfurled by the esteemed Chief Guest. The students sang the patriotic songs, recited poem and delivered speech in English and Hindi. The students were felicitated for achieving 100% Attendance Award by the Chief Guest. The programme concluded with the singing of National Song.

  • National Reading Day

    National Reading Day was observed. An introductory speech on “Read and Grow” was delivered and the contribution done, Principal shared her views on importance of the reading habit, which left the students motivated and elevated...To mark the event, students, teachers and the Principal read books after the morning assembly.

  • World Population Day

    A Poster making competition was organized for the students of classes IV to VII with an objective to create awareness on various population issues such as gender equality, poverty, maternal health and human rights.

  • Nutrition Week

    To inculcate healthy eating habits in the children of all age groups, Nutrition Week was organized. An awareness program on Balanced Diet was conducted by Ms. Nisha, Dietician, Pune.

  • Investiture Ceremony

    Innovative International School held an Investiture Ceremony.
    The establishment of a Student Council gives students an opportunity to acquire the sort of communication, planning and are prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility with utmost dedication.

  • Sanskrit Day

    The school celebrated Sanskrit Day. A Special Assembly was conducted. Geeta Shlokas were recited in the assembly. Four students participated in interschool Group Song and Monologue competition organised by Innovative International School, Chakan.

  • Janmashtami Celebration

    Janmashtami was celebrated with zeal. The girls came dressed as Radha and boys as Krishna. Student's recited a poem and UKG child delivered speech. “Matki Phod” event was organized and children danced on the tunes of Janmashtami song “Go Go Go Govinda”.

  • Pola Celebration

    Pola was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal. The children came decked in traditional dresses with their beautifully decorated wooden bullock toy. The programme started with Pooja followed by bullock race. Prasad was distributed to students and staff.

  • National Sports Day

    School observed the National Sports Day to mark the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. A Special assembly based on the theme “Health Is Wealth” was conducted. The celebration lasted for a week and various sports activities - Mini Marathon, Rally for Health Awareness, Inter house Sports Quiz, Poster Making Competition were organized. Friendly matches were organized to develop the team spirit, leadership and sportsmanship qualities among the students.

  • Teachers’ Day

    A teacher is a friend, philosopher, and guide who holds our hand, opens our mind, and touches our heart. Teachers’ day is a special day where teachers of schools, colleges, and universities are honored specially. A special assembly was conducted on 5th September to celebrate Teachers’ Day. A card was made by the students and presented to the Principal as a token of love and regards for all the teachers of IIS. Students delivered speeches and recited poems on the occasion.

  • Swachh Bharat Mission

    The Swachh Bharat Mission was celebrated in the school.
    Under this mission many activities were conducted. Inspirational videos on cleanliness and Not to use plastic were shown. Competition like Best out of Waste, the Cleanest Classroom, letter to Bapu, Declamation, Poster Making, and Slogan Writing were organized. A Session on - Correct way of washing hands and highlighting its benefits was conducted.
    Street Play and Rally were also organized to create awareness among public.
    Display Boards on Sanitation & Cleanliness were prepared by students.

  • Green Day Celebration

    The students of primary celebrated Green Day on 27th September with great zeal and enthusiasm. The teachers and children came dressed in green coloured clothes and brought green coloured eatables in their tiffin. The entire class was decorated with green colour objects. Many activities like storytelling, skit and vegetable printing were carried out.

  • Children’s Day

    “There is no garden as beautiful as Childhood”. Every child is a different kind of flower; together they make this world a beautiful garden. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru popularly known as ChaCha. Children’s Day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment.A Magic Show was organized on 14th November for the children. 

  • Awareness Programmes

    The school aims to create awareness among the people and motivate them to lead a hygienic and healthy life for which the students of class V, VII and VIII displayed an awareness campaign in the form of a street play “हम और हमारी आदतें” at Chakan. They also took part in a rally and a street play on ‘Health and Cleanliness Drive’ which was organized in Chakan.
